Whoever is saying nice things about me, thank you but stop now because my earlobe is burning. 
ok so right now my right earlobe is burning. Not bothered about it as I know it's not a big deal. I've had this a few times in my life and I know others have had the sensation that their ear/s are burning.
I had heard the saying before that if your ears are burning then that means "people are talking about you." I personally don't believe in all that.
But I do admit that I don't know the real reason for it actually happening so I decided to Google it. While doing so, I stumbled across this.
"They also believed that a burning left ear was a symbol of evil (people were saying bad things about them) and a burning right ear was a symbol of praise (people were saying nice things about them)."
So....thanks but that's enough people. 
Nah I honestly don't believe in all that but fun thing to think about. Just thought I'd share.

I haven't heard anything like that over here. Although we do have plenty of superstitions to believe in. Some I believe out of habit, some Thinking why chance it, some I don't believe in but have to so as not to hurt people's sentiments and some I just don't care what others think if I don't believe in them.

@Daljinder That is fair enough. It does get a bit hard sometimes when you've learned such things at an early age and it's something you just get used to. I remember a few Sara has told me and it used to make me giggle but I still did what I had to do to calm her down. I'd rather just play along to put her mind at ease rather than make her feel worse.

@VivaLaDani13 Yeah exactly. And it also runs the risk of getting blamed for something bad that may or may not happen just because I didn't follow through the superstitious belief.

How dare they say nice things about you
I never heard it as burning but we say around here if you get a ringing in your ear someone is talking about you, I have never heard if it was good or bad, just talking about you. I really never believed it before and now that I have issues with my ears and often get a ringing in them, I am guessing people are not talking about me that much.
