I like listening music with earphone. How about you?

Personally I don't like to interact on public transportation. I like calm and tend to use cellphones to hear songs along the way. Therefore, I always carry my earphones if I am on a trip. My favorite is listening to classic songs along the way. More calm and does not disturb people around me. Unlike if I use a private car, I tend to set rock and roll songs. More fun! Sometimes I will hum softly too so using classing song really makes me calmer in public transportation. I don’t like people humming louder and louder. It makes me uncomfortable. Even so, I will stay focused on the trip. I don’t want get pick-pocketing because I use it with my cellphone or it's late getting off at the next station hahaha

I got mugged/robbed outside a train station because I was using earphones and didn’t notice someone following me. Now I prefer my music on speaker. Less strain for my ears and also keeps me alert to the surroundings.

When I feel the need for privacy, I will put on earphones, and open a book. (either physical book or an ebook) I don't play music or anything, but wearing the earphones is a signal, "hey, leave me be."

I do same thing too! ahahaa because I hate strangers me when I going to somewhere. I dont mind to help them but I do mind to talk with them for long travel.

@cperry2 That's awesome. Since I have been subjected to theft on the train for talking to one of the criminals (they disguised themselves as passengers and were super friendly), I became less trusting of foreigners.

@redtesha For me, I guess it depends on the situation, but mostly I agree. However, my last trip fourteen hours on a train, I had a nice lady next to me who lives an interesting life. So we did talk quite a bit.

Do little earbuds provide enough bass so you can really hear the music? I'm a musician and will link you to one of my songs. Can you hear the bass well enough? I don't own earbuds.

I listen to high quality headphones at home (Sennheiser HD-280 Pros). I do not take technology with my when I'm on a train, as I like talking to people and don't want to isolate myself.

Yeah...I like it.But Mostly i love to hear in Loud Speaker.Also headset song listening is not good for ears and health too...

You are right ... but unfortunately many people think that is not polite so I always use earphones when I leave the house. But I always adjust with a small volume so that I remain aware of the surrounding environment and maintain the health of my ears.

@reti_9 I really agree with your opinion. There are many cases of theft and pick pocketing because we are not aware of the surrounding situation.
