Call a veterinarian, or better yet take him to the vet. They can treat this quickly. ; )

I swear by FrontLine Plus. It kills flea eggs, adults, larvae, chewing lice, ticks, and repels mosquitoes. It's waterproof and I get mine 1/2 price on ebay. People think flea meds aren't working bcuz their pets are scratching 2 weeks after application, but you have to take into consideration that they have been scratching fleas and their eggs off into the carpeting prior to treating them. After a month and regular use, every flea in the house is gone. Some people will also treat their yard if they have a dog going out into a grassy area. A home remedy for your carpet is salt. It's supposed to burn the fleas. Another home remedy is to feed your pet garlic powder and Brewer's Yeast... I use them in homemade bisquits.

I found the best remedy for fleas is citrus. If you have a eat a lot of oranges, grapefruit, lemons, tangelos or any other citrus, save the peeling and boil it for a good 10 minutes. After letting it cool just pour or sponge on your pet starting with the ears first.

I use some kind of over the counter flea meds for my cat. I forgot what it's called though. you put the application (a few drops) on the back of their neck & it keeps fleas & ticks away for a month... speaking of which it's time to give my kitty his next dose

Get a fluit and play a nice tune... they will follow you...oops , no that actually work for rats...No serious now, ask your vet for a tablet against ticks and fleas, or the product you want to use is just as good

Do you have kids in the house? Do you have small pets? If not you can go somewhere that they sell pharm medicins and get this one that is special for pests. You have not to touch it by hand and you can't use it on small dogs. You have to let your dog out until the medicine dries off, aproximately 2 hours. That works for our dogs and cats. Tomorrow I will ask my dad and write the exact name.
