I look seeing the steam come off of the road after a rain storm. It just goes and tell you how hot is outside compared to the cold rain cooling the grounds. I could watch it just roll for hours and as it raise from the group and lift up into the air around you. The kids some times ask about it and I tell them is what happens when we have very hot days and the group suddenly gets cooled from the raise you can see is with the steam.

Even I love to watch this. The fact that the earth is cooling down always makes me feel happy.

It doesn’t actually cool down it’s just the cold water from the rain bend heated by the hot air

@amitkokiladitya yes but that doesn’t reduce the heat in the air. It makes more humidity holding more heat and water in the air.

That is the one thing I do not like in the summer. You hope that the rain cools things off and instead it makes them even steamier and hotter.

It doesn’t cool off anything that I know it makes it more humid but the ground doesn’t get a little cooler for the cold rain hitting it and the hot air above it. Tomorrow it’s suppose to be cool probably because we will have lots of clouds but Friday there was so much humidity in the air your clothes you could feel it clumping to it. The kids didn’t care but me and my husband where like it disgusting outside

Yes it is! I also like the smell of rain. Today’s rain did smell pretty or anything because of all of the humidity in the air but is always nice to smell when you can smell it.
