Me and my husband watched the new Pet Sematary, the 2018 not the 1989 version. I have to say I think both are good but both are different story line changed a little bit. This one my husband did watch all the way through we had stop half way their the original. The ending leaves you with a blank on what happens. Basically family movies out to the country. Kids cat dies gets placed in the Sematary beyond the pet Sematary. Cat comes back but not in a good way. One of the kids died gets brought back to life but isn’t right evil mean wanting to hurt people. More bad stuff happens after that. Same thing with the 2019 just the ending leaves you wanting to know what happened next. This is based off the Stephen King novel.

Possible I don’t know. I know It has a second part but the original doesn’t have a second part to it. They did make a second one with new characters. I haven’t heard anything about this one getting a second part. Totally possible if of Stephen Kings stories have lots of possible endings.

@ShyBear88 I read the book ages ago and wondered if there was a pet cemetery near me. I remember the animals coming back but they are not really who they were before. It was very scary for me.

I haven't seen the entire movie yet but the trailer seems good enough for some horror fun. Didn't know there was an old version...

I’ve read one of his novels before. I had a hard time imagining things cause I don’t read supernatural/horror fiction a lot. But I’ve seen several Stephen King movies and the last one I saw was Gerald's Game.

The original is a 1989 Stephen King book. He writes a lot. IT is also one of us books and there is an older original that they have redone for that as well.
