Hello, all ! Well, today was "sports day" at school--the teachers in the preschool class have tried to do "big activities" with the kids since its Summer) and it was pretty much a fiasco. My boss loaned a bunch of kid-themed sports equipment from the other school, and it was pretty much a fiasco. Most of the kids just went hitting things with bats and kicking soccer balls into places they shouldn't have been, and...I'm surprised (more) things didn't get destroyed. It wasn't really a good idea for a bunch of kids who have little to no boundaries and don't follow rules for the most part, and then on top of that this school doesn't have a lot of space, so.... My co worker and I tried to mark off places for certain things, but the kids didn't pay attention to them. I think we should have at least had a time where we explained what the equipment was and how to use it, first. For the most part, in my opinion, it was a bad idea. I'm not a huge fan of sports anyway--PE was my worst subject next to math in school--so I was glad when the other teacher just decided to put everything away. I got to read with the kids, as a few of them had left their books here from "book day" and we didn't have a chance to read them, so I read one of the visiting going-into-first-grade girls' chapter books. I was a bit surprised at some of the kids that showed an interest. Maybe because of all the chaos in the morning, by the day seemed to go kind of fast. Since it's Wednesday, I'll be heading to church for Bible study soon. Sometime tonight I'll have to make my lunch for tomorrow. I hope that your day/evening/etc. is going well in your part of myLot land !

Sounds fun. And I hope that all the kids and parents had fun, Those kind of activities are very good because it can strengthen their bond and trust to one another. We also do those kind of activities before for kids and to the parents as well. Anyway, have a nice day ahead.
