I Felt Humiliated

Today something happened that made me feel humiliated. I live with family members and I have been using an herbal product for my skin. It is Tea Tree Oil and it has a foul smell but I used it to clear up a problem I had with my skin. I really didn't know other people in the house could smell it, but they could. One person said to me, "What is that SMELL? Are you using some kind of thing that SMELLS?" I said, yes, I was clearing up a problem with my skin. He said, "Oh, I was worried the roof had a leak." I threw away the bottle at once but I felt humiliated.

I don’t think tea tree oil smells bad. I would have just kept using it.

Tea Tree Oil does have a distinctive smell but I wouldn't describe it as 'foul'. That person has no sense of propriety

Maybe you should ask the clerk where you bought it if it's supposed to have that smell. I'm sorry you felt humiliated. Since it worked to clear up your skin, you should have let the person know the purpose before throwing it away.

Wow that was rude. Can't just throw away someone's belongings

dont.let his.comment ruin your routine. if that can clarify your skin, continue using.it. maybe you can use that when no one is around.
