Hey everyone, hope you had a great Friday! I am back to share about my food/health for the day. I have lost some weight in going back on low carb. It's mostly the water weight I gained....but at least it is going in the right direction. My averages are going down some, I think.... 136 for 2 weeks and 122 for a month. Anyways....for today. Fasting sugar: 102 Meal 1: Strawberry Keto Chow (reviewed this earlier) Blood sugar after: 104 Meal 2: Bunless burger with mayo & no sugar added ketchup 1 slice of cheese Blood sugar: 105 Meal 3: 1 cup of greek yogurt with sugar free syrup & Lily's chocolate chips (low carb - 2 net per serving) Blood sugar: 94 Nutrition/Macros: Calories: 1,259 Protein: 76 Fat: 93 Net Carbs: 17 Potassium: 1,962 mg Sodium: 1,663 mg (better than yesterday) magnesium: 244 mg Vitamins: A: 93% C: 182% D:172% E:62% K:53% The app tracks B vitamins too, but there is more as one so didn't feel like posting them all. Most of the vitamins seem good. What do you think about the rest? My sugars were just a little over 100, which is not too bad....but I still would prefer them to be under 100. I'll try to do better tomorrow! How did you all do?

It seems since you started on this shake your blood sugar is higher per meal than before you went on this shake diet. Your numbers look good.

Yes, I have noticed that...well I will run out of the samples soon and we'll see what happens when I go a day or two without any!

@just4him I won't get the vitamins/minerals needed though because I don't eat fruit or veggies (and I don't see that changing). Guess I could spend 1/6th of the price and get a good multi vitamin though. And I can get some of them if I drink the zipfizz. We'll see if the numbers change though.

@MommyOfEli2013 LOL, I was being funny. Its your life and if you are happy that is all that matters. I look at diets differently, they are a quick fix, then you eat normal and gain it all back, unless you are going to live on this one forever, then its a lifestyle change. I have to aim for the lifestyle change because I have diabetes and I will never be able to eat all the carbs I used to love to eat daily and that I sneak sometimes. Do you see yourself on this diet from now own? To keep the BS numbers down?

@andriaperry I thought so, lol. I agree on that about diets versus lifestyle change. That is what I am for as well. And I know there are going to be a day here and there that I will go off plan but otherwise I know I need to eat this way the rest of my life. I've been trying to do that all year...but had a hard time in the beginning of July. I know it is the only thing that works for me.

That's good to hear! I try to intermittent fast too....I did a 15 hour fast yesterday.

Blood sugar wise, I am not sure they are helping. I am getting the vitamins and stuff I need though. And yes, if I go to this instead of a carby treat it would be better. I am going to have a cheat day here and there still though.

I am back down to my lowest weight since I started in January....so mostly just lost the water weight. I have up to 83 more to lose!!
