Nigella Number 3

Following my photos of Nigellas 1 and 2, this is my final one. It's a pure white one. As you can see from the surrounding foliage I have loads more to come and I would dearly love to see a deeper blue or pink but, whatever comes out, I'm sure I'll be delighted with it.
Once they've finished flowering the seed heads are rather lovely and the seeds inside the head will be delicious in my cooking.

No it doesn't but the insects like it so it's great wildlife. They're very delicate and, if we have a strong wind, they soon get blown around but, on the whole, once the weather becomes calmer they pick up again.
