Earning through adsense in Youtube.

I use every opportunity to guide candidates appearing for Bank recruitment tests, Insurance company tests, Staff selection commission tests by posting blogs. I also post youtube videos. About a year or two back just one month after my taking adsense in youtube--i earned $2 and then rules changed, One has to have minimum 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours watch time in a year. So account became not eligible for adsense revenue Now I have qualified in number of members I have 1100 subscribers, But number of hours watched is only 400. I will have to put in enormous efforts to increase this number because mine is an education site and making people watch videos is tough. There may be some of us earning through youtube also. good day.
