Hot food on a hot day

So today I got a hankering to go to my friend's Indian (Kerala) restaurant for lunch. They have a very reasonable lunch set. It was great! I had keema and spinach/potato curry, rice, salad, yogurt for dessert and iced chai for about $7.50 USD. I almost never eat out and it was so worth it, even though it was our first really hot day today.
Now I have to go teach a voice lesson, hope my food digests enough I can breathe.
What do you like to eat on a hot day?

Oh thats great... Im half Kerala and Half Tamil Nadu... Hope you enjoyed the meal.. I mostly prefer to eat curd rice, ICE CREAM and FRUITS on a HOT DAY.

Mostly I have cold food on a hot day. I seem to lose my appetite in hot weather.

I like light foods on a hot day specially some juice. But South Indian lunch can easily be digested.
