I Will Be Out for Awhile

IF we go to my mom's and stay for awhile, I will be out of the office. I just wanted to let you guys know. There is no internet there so I will have to see about getting a hot spot or some solution. I will try to MyLot on my phone but no guarantees there. She is now saying she doesn't want to go. She thinks my brother wants to kill her. She is scared. I mentioned that one way to keep him away is to prosecute him for theft. She says she can't do that. She would rather give her house up than send him to jail. So sad. Keep us in your prayers. Will do. Right now she is planted here. I am trying to get her an appointment to go talk to counselor or her doctor at the mental health clinic this afternoon. Waiting for them to call me back. If they get law enforcement involved it isn't my fault. It is elder abuse and any medical facility is supposed to report it and follow through on it.

I read through comments and hope they have called you back by now. That is sometimes a normal thing with dementia. The person will get paranoid. But yes they should be reporting and her doctor visits track record would help support that he was not caring for her. Then you also have the bank records of written checks. I know you have more.

Yes, I do. It's bad and will send them both to jail for a very long time. My mom knows all this and doesn't want to feel guilty. Well, they are both adults. And as I told her yesterday, she gave them a second chance and they are STILL stealing from her? I don't think so. I don't feel sorry for either one of them and not for this girl's two daughters either. They will be better off with anyone over her. Her three sons are all grown.

A mothers unconditional love. I know God is with you, he is already showing you everything your brother will have to answer for when his time comes. Stand up and fight for your mom, you will find a way to stop him. The law is there for people like me and you, to help us.

I am hoping my mom can find a copy of that POA so we can get it voided. We don't have the date or know exactly what it says. She remembers that it was handwritten and in very small lettering and she could not read it. Sound shady to you?
