So long sotry short, my friend has a account for a viewing service and somehow my paypal got attaached to her accout. I reached out to the company multiple times and they can't fix it because whatever answer so I told my friend i need her to go take my paypal off her account and her credit card back on it. This started 2 weeks ago and I wrote her monday or tuesday night to fix it. I went to her account today and my paypal is still listed as her way to pay. It's only $10 but it's still my money. I tried to give her til today to change it just in case she was busy with work or school during the week. Now its a week or so til I get charged again for it. The only one i can change it is to try to cancel her whole account and I've been trying to avoid that but she won't change it. So i was wondering how long you guys would give her before you canceled her account? I want to avoid further issue but I don't want to be paying for other peoples stuff when I have my own stuff to take care of ?

@skydream Like 1 day or less lol If I was her, I would have done this as soon as I had access to my laptop and not friggen 2 weeks! I hope it gets sorted. Since your friend is not helping you out, might as well cancel it. Doesn't matter if it was $10 or $1, it's yours.

@skydream You're very welcome. I honestly have no idea why some people take ages to do something when they have access to it every single day. ( computer related I mean ) I don't understand the hold up especially when it's something very important. I can almost guarantee that if your friend was in your shoes, she'd be wondering what is taking you so long. Best wishes and I hope it all gets sorted so you don't have to worry about it anymore.

@VivaLaDani13 I don't know either. And when the app is on computers phones and tvs theres no reason for it to take this long at all. Definitely, if it was hers she'd be like did you change it when are you i reached out to her one last time and all i got in response was "k". Thanks so much!(:

I would not give her more time. You already asked her and she only needs a warn from you if you haven´t told her.

Thank you! I wanted to make sure it wasn't me just being super uptight about it and it was the right thing to do. After a couple weeks I'm at my ends trying.

I would cancel before the next payment goes out. If it’s not done before the day before it’s due I would go and cancel it since your friend isn’t being a friend then.

That's what I kept thinking. Every time I get on and see she hasn't changed it im always like well ill give more time and trying to wait til the day before but people keep telling me to do it asap in case she changes her info and i cant get in to do it anymore. I agree its very frustrating she's doing this

Just create another one. Just give thr 10usd to her because it may cause further conflict. I encountered people before who really didnt like to pay. Or return the money they borrowed from me.

That's what I was thinking if she was just going to keep it then i was going to let it go i dont like fighting about money. But now her whole account is continued being billed to me and only she can fix it so Im just going to have to cancel her whole account. Thanks for you comment!

@skydream yes just cancel your account. and to be honest when it comes to.money, there is no friend or family or what. it is hard to trust someone as long as money is.concerned.

I think she's had enough time, and you've asked more than once. It's your money and your account, and it probably doesn't take long to change it back to her credit card. If you have to cancel it because she won't remove it, then that's her problem.

She should have done it the first time you told her. I guess go ahead and just cancel her account if you can. She can just get another one.

I personally would have cancelled it already, you gave her fair warning and if she hasn't had time she could have let you know. Plus she could have made the time to do it, I'm sure it would have only taken her a few minutes not a few hours.

What kind of friend even does this though. And doesn't change it when asked.

On things like this, I would have killed the account immediately if I could. They know they are taking money from you. You've told them so. Kill the account and let them come to you if they have an issue with it.

I think most of us agree that you don't keep waiting ... But the decision will be yours, money is money.
