My 6 year old had a play date with one of his classmates for this past year. He was invited to his friends birthday but since we where our of town me and his mom arranged to play date.
My son was also kind enough to get a little gift for his friend a Pokémon card holder that holds 80 cards. He was telling me his friend really likes Pokémon which is great because so does my 6 year old and my husband.
We went to the park this morning at 10am before it go to hot. Today was cooler then it’s been. In the 80’s which was nice. Not to hot and not cool either. So the kids ran around for a bit and us adults took a table and just chatted while the kids ran off some steam for the day. We had to leave around 12pm when the kids ran out of water.

I asked him yesterday if he wanted to get a little something he said yes and it had to be Pokémon so we went searching for it.

@ShyBear88 I knew how to swim back then but she couldn't, and at the end she almost ended up drowning, thanks to my neighbor who came to the rescue

It's great when kids can have some playtime. Being an only child it was always a treat for me when I got to play with other kids.

Yes! They enjoy playing with other children that are not each other. We take any chance we can get. They even let another little boy they didn’t know okay with them.
