I’ve been waiting for almost an hour already here in the park. When I finally decided to look up, I saw this group running barefoot. It’s my first time seeing people run like that. I didn’t know that it’s okay and I didn’t really think of it until now. What about you? *image from clevertraining.com

I can only walk barefoot on a whitesand but I make sure I look down to see what I step on, but running barefoot in the park would never be my thing. It's dangerous, we might step on some broken glasses, sharp objects or even animal waste lol

That is so true. We might have wounds in the end instead of achieving that healthy feeling that jogging or running gives us.

@weevee18 you are right. One can benefit from walking barefoot on the sand.

@weevee18 I would not like to run barefoot outside because you never know what you will step on.

@weevee18 I am with you. I do not like body pain either.

Me too and I don’t like any body pain. I wouldn’t try barefoot running.

I certainly ran around barefoot as a child. I don't see it often now.

Oh now that you said it, maybe I did that too as a child but I just can’t remember. The group that I saw were adults though.

Walking or running on bare foot has something good for the health. That's what I learned from my friends who work for acupressure alternative medicine. I don't know if it really works for I haven't tried it.

I see it has that effect too but even if I think about it too much I can’t convince myself that I want to try it.

@weevee18 If you dare to run barefooted, I think you couldn't resist the tickling of thr ground, the pebbles, the twigs, the sand or the dry leaves or grasses.

Walking or running barefoot has its own advantage. But it seems difficult for many people as many of them may get hurt on their feet.

That’s true. When you’re running it would not be that easy to spot what’s on the ground specially when you’re running fast already.

That could be true too as it’s still running. Have you tried it?
