Greed or Give?

August 9, 2019 10:58am CST
Many say it is better to give than to receive. But I say, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Some of us thinks that when we give, we lose something. But in reality, when we give, we bring hope to the ones whom we give and we create an empty space for us so that God can fill it again. Life is not about how much you OWN, but it is about how much you GIVE. How about you? What will you choose? GREED or GIVE?

I do agree with you....giving is a blessing and giving with a true heart. Some people give just to be recognized or give just to talk about it.

Agree. Real giving is when you give without expecting in return.

When one is asked to choose between greed and give, it assumes that there's a need to do so. Perhaps, when a society has less needy people, less emphasis will be on "give". Similarly, when most are affluent, being greedy may not be as tempting. Anyway, being charitable is always good, but being "greedy" in a good way also has some benefits.
