Besides the obvious, perhaps the other biggest problem most poor people have is their desire to follow their misconception of how the rich people live. It is not unusual that poor people will spend for new tech gadgets or use their hard earn money to express extravagance. Maybe rich people have been doing both, because they have a consistent financial plan. While, it is possible that the rich can apply the concept of "making your money work for you", poor people always work for the money. In other words, poor people do not have the money that can eventually work for them maybe because they already spent it all, for they think this is what rich people do.

I do not care what rich people do. I work hard for my money and I try to save up as much as I can. I know I will never be rich but I can be comfortable and content.

It can also be most not all rich people steal from the poor. Until the rich give me a reason like Bill Gates or that dude from Tesla, people like Trump and Mitt Romney exploited the poor to get rich.
