I Was Banned!

It started out as a run of the mill Saturday, the normal chaotic crap unfolding in usual fashion. Haley, Brandon and I decided on Chinese but our usual haunt doesn't deliver. It's so close someone could walk there to get it but laziness prevailed. Our solution, Jason. He would pick it up, drop it off and all he wanted in return was an order off egg rolls (two per order). About twenty minutes after I ordered it I got a call from an unknown number. It was the Chinese joint, they gave Jason the wrong bag. I couldn't make out what she was saying about the order - I thought she was saying he just picked it up and it was late. When we started unpacking everything we realized the order was completely wrong. We got three orders of General Tso Chicken and one order of Pepper Steak. What we actually ordered through the Beyond Menu app: General Tso Chicken (hot hot) Vegetable Lo Mein Chicken Fried Rice Moo Goo Gail Pan When I called her back she started screaming at me saying "I call you and tell you!" She said she would credit my account and "get free next time". That would be awesome but no one else wanted the General Tso Chicken or Pepper Steak. I told her I wanted the food we ordered and someone would be back to pick it up in fifteen minutes. Haley called me from the parking lot of the strip mall and sounded hysterical. 'You've been banned. Your email, phone number, Beyond Menu and Doordash accounts have all been banned' What the hell would they do with returned food? Throw it out? Put it on someone else's order? She asked Jason where the food from the first order was. He said it was back at the house and she flipped out on him. So now we are without a cheap Chinese place to get lunch specials but I could care less. There are five other places n the area that would love to get our business. I'd write something on Yelp or other foodie sites but they aren't worth the keystrokes. Yong yuan zài jiàn!

Their loss. I hope you find a better place with better food too. That would serve them right.

Maybe they eat the returned food themselves.But seriously,why was any of this your fault??

They wanted the first order back ... I wonder if they would try to repackage it and sell it to someone else.

most places would throw it out or let the employees have it. but yea they sound off kilter there..
