Twiddle blanket or muffs / myLot

Have you ever heard of a Twiddle blanket or muffs? Yeah neither have I! I asked my group of knitting and crotch ladies what to make for my husbands grandmother. She is very sick and doesn’t remember anything or anyone but I wasn’t sure what to make her. One lady suggested a twiddle blanket/muffs. I didn’t even know what that was and looked it up. It’s like a fidget blanket for all ages so you can touch and run it. Work your sensory skills. It sounds like the prefect thing for her. So I’m going to get started on it tomorrow after I have the kids help me pick out a few touch things for the craft store.

I think that would be an awesome gift. It would a great thing for special needs children to have too. I had never heard of such a thing until today, so you aren't alone!
