Approaching 50...What to expect?

About a month from I'l be turning 50. It's a nice round number. It's another milestone. There are many who here in my country who would have a big party upon reaching that age.
I've been thinking of what to do and I've decided to be more practical. No big party. Just a simple meal with my family and probably have an outreach activity together with my friends to share the blessings with the small community that we've been supporting for some time.
How about you? What's your most memorable birthday? What did you do? How about when you turned 50 or when you become 50?
What are the big changes that you experienced upon approaching that age? Were there things that you changed in your lifestyle?

I turned 40 years of age last December.
But I don't feel old yet because forty is still relatively young these days.
To be honest though, when I turn 50, I won't feel so young. Not real old, but still...
