My Rugged Little Roses

This year has been one of the best years ever for my roses. I've been dead heading them regularly and it's obviously been encouraging this particular rose bush to push forth new flowers! I can't believe that it's September and I've still got a lovely array and I've noticed still more are coming along. If we don't have any sharp frosts I can see them flowering in October!

@CarolDM It's now starting to turn chilly here. Because we live on the east coast we tend to get northerly winds which my roses don't like ... come to think of it, neither do I!!!

This is the first year they've bloomed between June and September. They're normally over by the middle of August.

I'm not sure of their name but they change colour as they go from bud to bloom!

Yes they do. When they first start to open they have a yellowy tinge at the centre but as they open up they turn into a pale pink and then to white.
