Lets talk about our second Mercury Capri

Whoops, apparently I posted this on Garden Gerty's profile a couple of times. Our second Mercury Capri Is finally on the road. We were handed this car on October 2, 2015. It had 16,151.3 miles on it at the time and had been sitting under a tree with a tarp over it for 13 YEARS. Since that time I have put four new tires on it, a windshield, fuel tank, two front seats, hood, right rear brake caliper, right outside rear view mirror, inside hood release cable and wiper blades. I have replaced the timing belt, power steering belt, alternator belt, spark plugs and wires and air filter and fuel filter. I had it inspected by Kansas Highway Patrol. I have been driving it on occasion. Fuel mileage has been 25.475 MPG to 29.336 MPG the little bit that I have been driving it. The parts for this car have been around $866. Much of the labor has been done by me. Labor I have paid for has been around $250. Most of the parts were used. Not bad for a nearly new car. We would like to sell the old one as we have put a lot of miles on it. The old one is white, with a red removable hard top. The new one is silver, with a red removable hard top. We will get a lot of years out of it.
