Got Rid Of FACEBOOK by joining myLot!!

After a few days of using myLot, today i realized that i am not opening my FACEBOOK account ever since i joined myLot. Earlier, I was so addicted to facebook that i used to go through my feeds after every half an hour. I am very happy that i got rid of my old addiction. It is better to spend time with quality people here in myLot than wasting time on checking my friends' status.

There is positives to both. I like Facebook a lot, because it gives you freedoms to do things there, you can't here. I can sell my artwork there, and promote it. The only thing I can do here is just show my artwork. If folks are interested they have to contact me privately to ask for more info, and I have found after being here for a couple of years that just does not happen. The best that happens here is that you can earn a little cash. Very little. But at least it is something. So to me... I say have both. You can have the best of both worlds.

@ankit16497 - Memes are big on Facebook and I tend to use quite a few myself from time to time. I think it is a little too rigid and stiff here, which is why I stay gone for long periods of time, then come back every now and then to see what is going on.
I really don't make money here. I stayed on $4.8877 for over a year. The fact I have been active tonight I am up to $4.9733 now. So I am about ready for a cash out. I have not had one in several years.
It is not about the money anymore for me. If I can't find good quality conversations, I move on. It was lacking quite a bit there for a while.
It appears that a new breed of folks have signed up, and they are much more sociable. Maybe I will stick around for a while. But then again... Maybe I won't. LOL It will depend upon what is going on in my life.

Yes facebook gives you more freedom than here,,,facebook algorithm and interface is far better than here,,, you can show as well as sell your art there... my only problem was that most people you befriend are the same you meet or have seen before... probably of your country..and most of the time you spent on memes etc

I still keep in contact with my relatives on fb, so I can't get rid of it completely.

My Lot has high quality people from lots of different countries. It is easy to find interesting discussions. I can use My Lot at anything of the day. I use Face Book just once a day. I can see how addictive Face Book is. People can use Face Book way too often.
