You're Past: What does it mean for you?

Some people work super hard to conceal any and all things about the past. I heard one person say that he knows nothing about his wife's past because "That was then." I get that, but I wanted to know about my wife nonetheless. I wanted to know the ups and downs and good and bad times. I told her the same about me. This wasn't a prison for us, this is who we were in a season. When it becomes more than that for you, then yes, it's a prison that can keep you in that same time zone for years. I know some people that are still mentally in 1995. It's 2019. They can't move forward. Sad, but true. Don't let your past be your dungeon, because you should have the key to your own freedom.

I think it is good to know about some peoples past but then there are things in the past that I would rather not have to talk about and somethings that I don't want most people to know about and be judged on. But someone as close as a husband/wife I think maybe you should talk about your past.

In life if there is anything that is permanent that is nothing but a 'Change' ! One has to change with the time and adopt oneself with the time! I think people should change the attitude and learn from the present moment and proceed ahead with positive and purposeful thoughts to keep the surroundings happy for self and the companions around! I hope I could express what I want to?
