The Beauty About Working From Home

Who doesn't want to work from home? Working from home gives you FREEDOM. Freedom to spend quality time with family, freedom to work your own hours, no boss breathing down your neck, but you have to be very disciplined. I think eventually I want to create my own articles and books about spirituality and relationships. Oh, and maybe some blog posts as well.

When I first started working from home (online)... it was so hard to make decent $$. Almost gave up so many times, but something told me to keep going, keep trying. And I worked my way up the ladder, little by little. Because there was one thought in the back of my mind that kept me motivated, even in the beginning when I was just earning pennies per site. That thought was: Do you really wanna punch a clock and work a 9-5 job like all the other miserable people of the world? Or do you wanna work from home, stay happy, live an easy life, and most importantly, sleep whenever you want, and as much as you want.. And I did it. I sleep 11-12 hours per day...and work whenever I feel like it....AND make some pretty good money. It was all worth it.

@Deegoddess I do have a small business going, I make these Myrtle Beach coconut candles and I sell them thru my dad’s store. But that’s more of a crafty side-job/hobby and I mostly do it for fun. My other 2 jobs are my main sources of income. One is online (just recently snagged this job!) and the other one involves working with transcripts, mostly medical, some legal. I had to get certified for this one (CMT) so I took online courses to get the certification necessary and then from there I was promoted to Editor. And I get to do it from home, just like the other one. Glad you didn’t give up either. It really was worth it, wasn’t it? The freedom.

Absolutely! So much freedom and that's why I never gave up. Do you have your own business?

It would be lovely to be my own boss. I like the idea of choosing my own work times. One day I could work for 12 hours and the next day I could take the morning off to go food shopping. I would like to spend time with my children so my work hours would fit around them. Good luck in the future for being successful with this.

I like working for someone else. No pressure to have to worry about income, health insurance, pension, etc.

That makes sense, but wouldn't you want to use your God given talent or gift to help others and get paid for it, instead of making someone else rich? Just a question, but everyone is different, I know people who love going out and working and then I know others that love or want to be entrepreneurs.

@Deegoddess I do get paid for my work. I am a public worker so no one is getting rich from what I do.

@Deegoddess Sounds like you have a plan. I am self-employed so My Lot is it right now. I am looking for some things I can do at home online besides My Lot but there are things that do not come to Israel or I am not qualified for it.

@Deegoddess I tried many things but did not succeed at them. I thought I would like to try things online like doing surveys but not many come here or in English. Also I would like to do reviews on movies and books.
