Condolences For Congressman Elijah Cummings

Although I am from a different race and political philosophy, Congressman Elijah Cummings was an inspiration to me. Congressman Cummings was a dynamic servant-leader, the type of leader this country desperately needs. He loved his people, served them, and did everything he could to help them as he led them in Congress. He lived the American Dream, and he wanted everyone to be successful and enjoy the American Dream. He had a keen sense of fairness and justice and he was a great peacemaker. He demonstrated this in his relationship with President Trump. After President Trump viciously attacked him, Congressman Cummings invited him to Baltimore and said he would be welcomed there. America has lost one of its finest leaders, but his legacy will live on as others emulate and follow his example. I invite leaders in every walk of life to follow the example of servant- leadership set by Congressman Cummings. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
