How does the modern technology impact your daily life?

I find it amazing how the world has been taken over by the vast growth of innovation and technology. Everywhere I look at, there is a person using his/her gadgets like their mobile phones, tablets and so on... All these make me think of one question, that has been lingering in my mind for quite some time now. Since in these modern days, we seem to be so dependent on modern gadgets... Do you think you will be able to survive a day without any of these modern gadgets? Why? or Why not?

I use technology as little as possible. I can survive without it, because I see most of my friends and family in person.

Great! That way you get closer to each other. I wonder why kids can't live without their gadgets even for a day.

The most impact to me of technology is communication. The mobile phones and the internet in particular.
