All SAINTS' day!

Today we commemorate All Saints day. It has been a tradition that we visit our loved ones during this date. But technically All souls day is November 2, which is a day after. Earlier I visited my Mom and Dad in the cemetery. I lit some candles and offered some flowers. I also uttered some prayers too and had some of the caretakers of their tiny place( like a mini house but sad that when I haven't had a caretaker yet, everything was stolen including the wooden benches, switch and ornaments. I mean the bronze design on the tomb) tidied up. It is so sad that no matter how GREAT lives you have lived on this very earth when you go back to the ashes, it seems like you never existed. No one remembers you anymore. Just like Mom and Dad. Actually even if you were a celebrity, when you are gone you take your popularity with you. I thought of the saying that goes, " You will only know a person's worth when he is gone." What can you say about this? * Credits to the Owner : On the photo is Pres. Rodrigo Duterte ( Republic of the Philippines )

During lunch, the rain poured and that made me think of the people in the cemetery. After the heat of the sun it was followed by the rain.

Yes, when you experience that weather, my grandma used to say, " There are a couple of half-horse half-human being bonded by the sacrament of matrimony." ( lol )

How awful that people would steal from a cemetery, they must be the lowest of the low.
