Today at the hospital a girl gave birth but she refuse to breast feed her baby, I over heard nurses asking her to feed her baby. I walk in to know the reason why, the nurse said it has been 2hr she gave birth and had refuse to touch or even feed the baby. I ask her reasons she said her boyfriend left her to fight for herself during pregnancy abandoning with nothing. I plead with her to feed her baby, seeing that she unwilling I told the nurse to take the child to the midwife to care for. Then I ask who will discharge her the nurse said she has already paid her hospital bill, I was surprised, she look every young. So I ask some nurses to watch her closely she may end up leaving her baby in hospital. What do you think

I do not think she should be allowed to take the child home if that is the way she is behaving/

From what you are saying, it seems like she very well may abandon the baby at the hospital. If that is the case, then I hope a good family would adopt the baby.

That sounds like a sad situation indeed. Is there not an adoption process there? She could sign the papers and give the baby up? I hope someone was able to talk to her and let her realize that the baby was also a part of herself and will be a blessing to her in the long run.
