You have to make changes if you want to accomplish goals

We all want something better in life. But the "something better" isn't going to happen if we don't first change our perspective. We need a paradigm shift in our thinking in order to prompt action! For example, if you want to save $1000 in the next 3 months, then the first thing to do is take a look at what money is being spent on and cut out the unnecessary spending. I did the math for the three months that I went out to eat. Let's just say that I made a lot of fast food chain owners pretty wealthy! I had to stop and when I did, I was able to save money. What do you think is holding you back from accomplishing a short-term financial goal?

Those who spend above their means and don't save for an emergency are the ones who refuse to change their ways and develop good financial discipline.

@tamarascottonline If lack of common sense doesn't convince you, then the answer is stupidity. If you spend more than you have, you are stupid in my books. I can't think of any other explanation or excuse.

True. Some people have to "grow" this mindset. Not everyone is taught how to have good fiscal thoughts and to make good financial decisions. It doesn't mean they don't have common sense, it just means they have an opportunity to learn from mistakes.

@tamarascottonline I agree with you. I am still working on it, my friend. Thank you for the encouragement.

You will get there! Once you take the first step, the next one will be much easier.

I remember our teacher in college who told us to get out of our comfort zone to accomplish more.

@tamarascottonline it takes effort at first but later on you get the drift and it will be easier. That's the lesson I learned from that teacher.

@tamarascottonline but this does not mean that results are always fruitful
