Last Sunday I had a terrible shift ,the most terrible since I am in this job. We had an enourmous amount of customers and only four of us with two sick.It was such a dreadful situation that all the managers came to help. This young colleague of mine kept disappearing and saying she had really bad migraine.I struggled to do all the cooking on my own ,even though I am not completely trained to do it.So I am running like headless chicken, trying to cook, serve and wash whilst this lady sits on a chair, surffing on her phone. After 8 hours the shift finished and I told the rest of the staff members how it was and how useless this colleague was. Then I was told why she acted like that.It was because she was drunk. She went drinking Saturday night and got really drunk.I know everyone is entitled to some fun,but to come drunk to work is unacceptable.Sad thing is that she is only 18.This behaviour can not be tolerated, especially in a such as busy department as our.

Sorry to hear about your sad story at work. It is unethical of your colleague to come to work drunk. To do this at such an young age of 18 is most irresponsible. There may be some problem at her home.
