Hi, all! Look, I'm back after only a week! Now that I have fewer than four weeks, remaining, I am trying to "kick it into high gear" with my pursuit of my #20Resolutions goals. I will tell you, when you have all this extra stuff on top of all the regular stuff, it's very tiring! Because of that, I will be very forgiving of myself for not meeting all of my goals. However, if I can meet 10 of the 20, it feels like that will be a decent showing. And of course, even the ones I don't complete will have been partially completed. If individual items are taken into consideration, I did pass the halfway mark, already. Last week, I had achieved completion of six of my 20 goals, with the addition of "charitable contributions" and "new places" to the list. I've continued to donate and also visit new places, but I don't get "extra credit", here! Here is the prior list: 1. 12 books read 2. 0 pounds lost 3. 12 items culled from my wardrobe 4. 12 sketchbook drawings 5. 9 blog posts written 6. 2 art projects finished 7. 15 hats and scarves knitted 8. 16 web articles written 9. 3 Etsy listings made 10. 0 eBay listings made 11. 20+ charitable contributions made - CATEGORY COMPLETED 12. 6 items removed from garage 13. 20 new places visited - CATEGORY COMPLETED 14. 4 poems written 15. 8 beautiful photos taken Okay, so since it's only been a week since my last entry, changes are not going to be very dramatic. It's just a piddle here, a piddle there. I didn't even shut down any categories this time, but I did get closer on a couple. To be honest, many categories have zero progress since my last update. I do have some reasonably exciting news--I manged to lose three pounds, just since last week, so I have some progress to report, finally. However, this is the one category in which I can actually lose progress, so I'll try not to get bent out of shape. In the mean time, I will also celebrate the small victories of having finished another book, knitted another hat, and written two more web articles (this one is included). The shorter, updated list: 1. 13 books read 2. 3 pounds lost 3. 12 items culled from my wardrobe 4. 12 sketchbook drawings 5. 9 blog posts written 6. 2 art projects finished 7. 16 hats and scarves knitted 8. 18 web articles written 9. 3 Etsy listings made 10. 0 eBay listings made 11. 6 items removed from garage 12. 4 poems written 13. 8 beautiful photos taken Now, with 20 eBay listings, 18 art projects, 17 Etsy listings, 17 pounds, 16 poems, 14 garage items, 12 beautiful photos, 11 blog posts, 8 wardrobe items, 8 sketches, 7 books, 4 hats and scarves, and 2 web articles outstanding, that's 154 things to do. Seems terrible, and yet it's only 6.7 things a day. Sounds kind of reasonable, when you put it that way. Anyway, here is one of my recent sketches, based on the Inktober prompt "Mindless". I'll let it serve as a reminder to me to get off my phone and write some poetry or knit a scarf!

If you are on Facebook, I have a FB page called All Sorts of Art by Ali that you might enjoy. I also have a blog, . I write about my art and the art of others, and some of my lectures from my art classes are there, too, in article form.

I really admire how much you've done on your list. It's a very extensive list. And even if you don't close out a category, you still get much more achieved than if you didn't have a list.
