A Nippy End to November

Norwich, England

We'd been having a lot of wind and rain here in Norfolk throughout November but suddenly, on the very last day, the weather changed completely and I woke up to a very sharp frost. Nipped swiftly down to the bottom of the garden and got this photo which shows our little single oak in the meadow still showing its golden autumn leaves which looked so beautiful in the morning sun.

Strangely enough we live in one of the driest areas. We're on the east. If you look at a map of the UK we're the poky out bum shaped area on the east - county of Norfolk We have a few US air bases here. Have to admit though that Scotland really do seem to get it with the wind, rain and snow!
