Brendel Feeling Off Today

I can always tell when one of the cats is not feeling well. They don't sleep. They pace the floor. They whine. And want to be held more than usual. Brendel has been doing this all day today. She usually sleeps all day. But she has been up pacing all day. I finally got in the recliner and she is in my lap now. She dozes for a few minutes, then is awake again. Restless. She has a little cold in her eye I cleaned up for her. Maybe just an off day for her. We all get them. Maybe today is hers. I just will sit her and hold her as long as I need to. Because that is what I do. Have a good day everyone. Can you tell when your pets are not feeling well?

I’m so sorry and hope that Brendel only has a little cold. Yes, I knew when any of my cats and dogs were not themselves. It’s just what good pet mommies do. I hope she feels much better tomorrow.

@DianneN If she doesn't get better, but they always want to put her on steroids and I hate the side effects.

She has chronic bronchitis so I have to really watch her breathing. She is pacing again now. Restless.

It sounds like poor kitty has a belly ache. My Sally is getting older and for sure I can tell when her arthritis is hurting. I hope kitty feels better soon.

Poor Brendel. Maybe she had too much eggnog at the Christmas party last night! Years ago when I had cats, I could always tell when they weren't feeling well.

@CarolDM I am so sorry. Poor little one. I could tell when my dog and cat I had were sick. Sophie is a tough one. So far she is healthy.

yes ma'am, still worried 'bout the resident cat here. she did well fer 'bout 3 days 'n 'twas near back to her ol' self 'n now we're back where we started. took her to a new vet'n he couldn't find anythin' awry either. most puzzlin'.

Aww, Carol. Hope she feels better soon. Wylie doesn't eat dry food and stays under the bed for a long time if he's not well. He sometimes had lost weight due to loss of appetite. Have a good one.

Awww I'm so sorry Brendel doesn't feel well. I hope she gets better quick. Keep us posted. We no longer have pets. It's heartbreaking when they don't feel well.

I definitely can when Sophia isn’t running around the house excited when Little Miss comes over, she’s definitely having an off day, and Bella Rose just kind of lays around, I keep close eyes when they are like this! I hope Brendel feels better!
