Do you work for yourself or a traditional employer?

I have a real estate license and I also work 3 days a week for a large telecommunications company. I like my job. The company is great and I couldn't ask for a better schedule, yet I want to get out and focus on working on my own terms. I've just been afraid to quit the rat race because of all the great benefits I get. Right now real estate supplements my income but my goal is to make it my main source.
My sister makes her entire income from home and has been doing it for 10 years. She is happy at home working from her computer or phone and also pet sitting. She gets to be home for her kids and loves it. Self employment has really worked out for her.
As much as I would love to quit working for someone else, I also have 2 kids I support and care for and need stability. Do you guys work from home? What's the experience been like?

I am glad you like your job. I have been self-employed for quite some time now. I did selling somewhere but after 11 years did not work out and then tried something else and not so sure of that so came here to see if I can make something online.

Hi? Your job is great.You can earn big at one time. Just pray for clients to come to you. You can have as many jobs as you can as long as you can still manage. I am not working on line or work at home. I am a university professor teaching Mathematics, Physics and minor subjects non-math. I am wishing you a bountiful new year with your family.
