SUICIDE ...Is it a big sin to end our life??

Well at the height of our despair atleast some of us had thoughts about commiting suicide.Well some persons are in such a pitiable state that it would be better for them to commit sin.But sint it a big sin??

I think it is a sin and it is terrible, I hope people who want to do this will get help, nothing or no one can be worth ending your life over.
