Winter break has come to an end / myLot

Finally the 3 week long winter break for elementary school has come to an end. I do not understand why the brake is so long. During the last 3 weeks my son managed to get his days and nights flipped upside down and it has been a battle all week getting him ready for school next week. I am so happy for winter break to be over with, though. Is it 3 weeks long everywhere else or only 3 weeks long in california?

Three weeks in winter are really hard because the children stay at home and don't go outside to play. It's boring for them and hard to endure for the parents.
