Barney Rubble was in a car accident

Okay, well not Barney Rubble exactly, but Mel Blanc, the voice of Barney Rubble.
Apparently he was in quite a car crash as it required him to stay in the hospital two months and eight days. That didn't stop him from recording his lines for the show, however.
Once he was set up at home, the cast came around and they recorded 40 episodes of the show from his home.

I was and am a fan. One of the channels we get has the show on here and there, and ive been watching it. Didnt and dont have favorites

I will watch the old looney tunes if I find it, and Flintstones or The Jetsons too... I just don't find them often.

@Courtlynn So do I. I actually do like the baby looney tunes and the newer looney tunes, but prefer the old looney tunes since it's what I grew up with.

@CarolDM My mom used to make shrink a dink type jewelry, she made me a pebbles necklace, I believe. It's been so many years I don't rightly remember.

Speaking of Flintstones I am watching it now. My favorite is Betty and Barney and I also like Pebbles and Bam Bam.

I'm actually probably going to get some fruity pebbles today. 
I liked Betty and Barney, but I also liked Wilma and Fred. I probably like Barney a bit more than Fred though.

I liked how they drew Wilma with red hair and Betty with black hair.
My mom helped me make a shrink-a-dink of Fred once, I don't know what happened to it.

They were really cute, weren't they? Pebbles was almost a boy, did you know? According to that list above, they changed her to a girl for marketing / toy purposes.

They were the main couple of the show, but I liked Barney and Betty just a bit more.
