Had a good brunch a few minutes ago. Thomas brand multi-grain english muffins. I toasted them and added strawberry jam and butter. Also 1/2 banana and apple juice.
Yes this is a Dixie paper plate. Makes clean up much easier.
The sun is shining nice and bright. Cold and will get colder tonight and tomorrow. But I am staying inside. The birds have been fed. Pretty much done for now.
Plans for this Sunday anyone? I might watch the Tennessee Titans play Kansas City in a playoff game later. The winner plays in the Super Bowl.

I'm camping in the wilderness this weekend, and what I thought was a negative has since turned into a positive. We have a cold front coming through today, so it's been raining most of the morning. Not a lot you can do when you're camping and it's raining. So we hiked about 7 miles back to my truck, and then drove about 40 miles to the nearest hole-in-the-wall restaurant that have TVs with the football games on. So, even though I'm technically "camping" right now, I am watching the Tennessee/Kansas City game while waiting for all the rain to clear out. After the game tonight, we'll drive back 40 miles, and then hike the 7 miles back to our campsite. And yes, we'll be hiking in the dark late at night. Going to be very exciting! And freezing cold apparently.

@CarolDM It definitely was an adventure, but at least it was a fun one! The only bad part about the whole day was that the team I wanted to win in both football games lost. So I have no idea who I'm going to root for in the Super Bowl, as I do not like either team. Maybe I'll just skip the Super Bowl hoopla this year and go to Disney World or something!

That looks delicious. I prefer multi-grain breads over white any day.
I live in SW Missouri, a couple of hours away from Kansas City. This is Chiefs country for sure! Many of our stores are overflowing with Chiefs merchandise right now.

@CarolDM Hahahaa! Yes, go Titans! Or Chiefs! I don't care about football, to the dismay of a few people I know.

That sounds so good! We have some cranberry english muffins and they are amazing. I like to heat them up and put some cream cheese on them.
Only plans for today is to work and plan for the week.

I simply love the plain original English muffins warmed a bit and butter on it. With hot tea and an fried egg will always complete my breakfast. I love to have my breakfast the way I love it and not how it is meant to be had. Not many people will eat a fried egg with english muffin, but I am here and I love it.
