Multi Grain English Muffins + Banana

Had a good brunch a few minutes ago. Thomas brand multi-grain english muffins. I toasted them and added strawberry jam and butter. Also 1/2 banana and apple juice. Yes this is a Dixie paper plate. Makes clean up much easier. The sun is shining nice and bright. Cold and will get colder tonight and tomorrow. But I am staying inside. The birds have been fed. Pretty much done for now. Plans for this Sunday anyone? I might watch the Tennessee Titans play Kansas City in a playoff game later. The winner plays in the Super Bowl.

That looks delicious. I prefer to use dishes and let the dishwasher do the work. I never enjoyed eating off paper plates for some strange reason. Enjoy the game.

@DianneN I use them for quick meals. I have two sets of china and two sets of stoneware dishes. Too many actually.

When there is only two of us it makes it easier, takes too long to fill the dishwasher up. I don't always use paper.

I'm camping in the wilderness this weekend, and what I thought was a negative has since turned into a positive. We have a cold front coming through today, so it's been raining most of the morning. Not a lot you can do when you're camping and it's raining. So we hiked about 7 miles back to my truck, and then drove about 40 miles to the nearest hole-in-the-wall restaurant that have TVs with the football games on. So, even though I'm technically "camping" right now, I am watching the Tennessee/Kansas City game while waiting for all the rain to clear out. After the game tonight, we'll drive back 40 miles, and then hike the 7 miles back to our campsite. And yes, we'll be hiking in the dark late at night. Going to be very exciting! And freezing cold apparently.

@CarolDM It definitely was an adventure, but at least it was a fun one! The only bad part about the whole day was that the team I wanted to win in both football games lost. So I have no idea who I'm going to root for in the Super Bowl, as I do not like either team. Maybe I'll just skip the Super Bowl hoopla this year and go to Disney World or something!

@CarolDM I am not into brand muffins or strawberry jam. The banana sounds good. Sunday is usually my day to do laundry and work here.

That looks delicious. I prefer multi-grain breads over white any day. I live in SW Missouri, a couple of hours away from Kansas City. This is Chiefs country for sure! Many of our stores are overflowing with Chiefs merchandise right now.

@CarolDM Hahahaa! Yes, go Titans! Or Chiefs! I don't care about football, to the dismay of a few people I know.

That looks delicious. I buy English muffins every now and then to have an alternative for breakfast. Our son and his wife will use chinete disposable plates too so that they don't have to run the dishwasher.

I simply love the plain original English muffins warmed a bit and butter on it. With hot tea and an fried egg will always complete my breakfast. I love to have my breakfast the way I love it and not how it is meant to be had. Not many people will eat a fried egg with english muffin, but I am here and I love it.
