Refinishing Gelcoat on water slide

June 10, 2006 9:43pm CST
Hello Out There: I am looking for a methodology to renew the gelcoat of a water slide (a common blue color). My prime concern is the rough textured underneath side of the slide which is exposed to public view. I am thinking the best most economical way would be cleaning with an appropriate solvent with application of a primer and followed by a roll / brush on polyurethane?? Or is there a product out there that will be easier to use and be in the category of a dye. All I need to do is enhance the color which is badly faded. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I can be reached by e-mail: SurfaceCareusa@aol.com Thank you, Marc S
