Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I am back to share about my food/health for the day. Weigh in? Yesterday: 183.4 Today: 184.4 Went up 1 pound, not sure why. Blood Sugars: Fasting: 132 Meal 1 - 243?? Meal 2: 96 Meal 3: 76 Meal 1 - Arbys Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich (about 50 carbs) I had a few fries, but I didn't order my own I worked out after this meal....so I think that plus the carbs really spiked my sugar (plus I checked right after working out) Meal 2 - 2 pieces of fish (they were battered) - about 20 carbs Meal 3 - More so a snack - I had some low carb ice cream Macros for the day: Calories - 1,218 Protein - 57 Fat - 69 Carbs - 92 Fiber - 10 Calories burned working out - 434 Steps for the day - almost 9,000. The calories were not too high which is nice, most of the calories I had came from the first meal. I also burned a nice amount working out. We'll see what the scale says tomorrow. How did you all do today with food/exercise? Photo credit: Pixabay

You did well, except for the blood sugar from that first meal. I think you should do well on the scale unless you have water weight to deal with from the Arby's meal. I did well with food and exercise. This morning I'm dealing with water weight.

Yes...I didn't think it would go as high with the amount of carbs I had. I do know working out spikes my sugar (not sure about just walking). The scale showed that I stayed the same. That's good to hear that you did well with both. Sorry to hear that you are dealing with water weight. That's never fun!

To busy to eat right or at all. I am still at 133 pds. and fasting sugar around 100.

We went to Arby's the other night, also. I got their chicken strips and ate a few onion rings. It was great!

That's great you went there, and enjoyed the food. I never tried their chicken strips - I always go with the chicken cordon bleu sandwich, or french dip sandwich.

@kobesbuddy From there I can't help but have a sandwich! I should just get the meat and put it on the zero net carb bread (although I can't find it anywhere now).

You did pretty well. I had BBQ ribs again. Now they're all gone.

I did alright....not as good today. Well as long as you enjoyed the BBQ Ribs, that's what matters!

I had fish for lunch today. No exercise, just the usual kitchen chores.

I've found that fries, even a few, will push blood sugars.

I think it was more the bread than anything. I have had 4 or 5 fries before with just meat and my blood sugar was good. I had a little bit of potatoes with roast this evening and my sugar was only 107.

That extra pound is a mystery. You had a reasonable calorie day with a lot of steps.

Weightloss can be a mystery for sure....I can eat a lot of calories and lose weight (if I keep it low carb) but eating low calories and working out can make me go up.
