Past week my mom been going through my fathers service photos for next week. All the pictures she found had been so emotional to see and was I thankful that we had everything. But because I didn't got a whole lot of photos with my father once I saw this photo I immediately broke down in tears. After I seen this photo I found out this was photo took right before he took off for war and this couldve been last photo with him ( witch glad it wasnt) seeing all these photos of my dad in the army im glad to have the photos one thing i wish we had was his uniform I or my mom dont know what happen to it we move so many times when I was little so it couldve gotten lost then but I would like to have his badges or his rank that would be really nice to have but im thankful for what we have of his now.

So sorry for your loss. That is a wonderful photo. Perhaps a suggestion. Enlarge the photo and frame it.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your father. I have old service photos from my grandfather who was in the army many years ago, even when he passed away 14 years ago.
