"It was bound to happen, the mineral reserves in India was always a subject for discussion. They have discovered 3,000 tonnes of gold which is next only to the US and Germany in total gold reserves country wise. I don't know if it will change the way we live or bring down prices but it sure is a good feeling to know that your country is richer than before. Does this new mineral reserve change your perspective of India?" This news seems to be fake. We just got the news. But, it created excitement for a while. Post your views anyway.

Switzerland is number 7 for golden reserves, that is pretty good for such a small country.

That is nice so the position of your country seems secure. But, there seems to be a small setback. The news seems to be fake or not allowed to be published. Either way, India slips back to its original ninth position. Italy is third.

I don't know how the gold reserves impact the way a country lives. I guess they use them only in case of crisis.

Yeah, that could be it. It might help also Like if you have huge coal reserves the price of coal will come down bringing all the prices down. Maybe it doesn't add up that way.

No, new reserves of gold wouldn't change my opinion of India. (Honestly, I have a few uhm... less than optimal opinions about India as a country.) But, for the most part, I have very good opinions about the Indian people I've met and those I talk with on myLot, though. And even if that hadn't been fake news, the lives of the average Indian wouldn't have changed just because more gold reserves had been discovered there. What enriches a country doesn't necessarily enrich the people.

Yes, you are right. India is a big country with lots of things going on. China and Hong Kong are bigger markets.

@Ajy78613 It is like the season, the change in the weather changes everything beginning with the price of vegetables. I am waiting for the vegetable and fruit season to begin.
