My iPad keyboard just died on me. Sigh!!

Apparently, my iPad keyboard casing can no longer connect to my iPad. This is so frustrating because now I have to use the onscreen keyboard to type. And this is so much slower. I think after my recent ios update, I can no longer use non-Apple or third party products with my iPad. This is so troublesome.

The virtual keyboard is very difficult to use. I still prefer the real keyboard.

@Alexandoy I really don't like to use the laptop to participate here. It's so big and bulky. The iPad is smaller and easier to carry around. And also the laptop takes a while to power up. My iPad is always turned on 24/7. I need another 55cents to reach my minimum payout here in myLot so I'm working at that.

That is so frustrating. Do they have any service nearby?

It’s a China made accessory. I don’t think they have a service center nearby. And to send it back for service would cost me more than if I were to buy a new one.

@UmiNoor That is very bad. These China products are like that only. People buy it because it is cheap compared to the products made elsewhere but ultimately they become much more costlier.

@msdivkar Yeah we always want a good price but sometimes it becomes expensive in the long run.

I managed to fix the problem. It just needed some charging. The battery was running low. That’s all.

True. But if you don't update, the message will keep popping up asking you to update which can be quite annoying.

This is sure, Apple does everything to oblige users to use only certified Apple parts.

It seems that the keyboard is working again. It just needs to be charged. No juice so no connection. I had to reset the whole thing. And reconnected and it’s working well now. False alarm. I am my own service center. Hehe

Oh, that's terrible. I hope the next iOs update will help enable your keyboard to connect to your iPad.
