Hi Everyone This winter is again a dry one in Malta, it started well with rain, but I think that the last good rain was in December. We are watering the crops frequently like it is summer and the feed for animals like the wheat is still short and most likely will dry up, usually the hay is harvested in April or May. Many areas in Australia are also crying out for water. Some have had to sell off all their stock and are buying water in.

I remember, that last year farmers in a zone were left without hay and farmers from another zone brought them hay, I think it is really a great thing to do. I heard that some areas were flooded too.
