Can't wait for this quarantine to end so things can go back to normal and my partner can go back to work, I'm used to be under appreciated and forgotten about but when you are trying to do your best and everyday you feel like your not enough there's only so much 1 person can take.
I'm always saying I'm strong and unbreakable but sometimes even the strongest things have a breaking point, how long do I need to feel like I'm not good enough :-(.
Feeling so sad right now this stupid virus needs to bugger off!!

I'm sorry it's tough for you at the moment. Can you try to talk to your partner about it? If he's home with nothing to do, it's only fair he should help a bit. But I'm talking out of turn as I don't know your circumstances.
We're retired so used to being together pretty much 24/7 and we have 18 acres to hide in if it all gets too much. Look after yourself.

@JudyEv it's ok I'm used to it but thank you and no point in talking to him about it he don't like talking about how I'm feeling so just keep it to myself!
I'm used to being here doing it all by myself anyways but would be nice for a bit of support and that's good then lots of hiding places for you then haha I will try to look after myself thank you, hope you are well :-)

Hi Lou,
If you're sad, I'm sad too. You've got a tough job bringing up two kids, especially as you are not getting help. I would have thought this was his big chance to give you a bit of a break and allow you some me time, and also together time. From what I've learned from you, you're a lovely person who should be appreciated. You will just have to tell him how you feel and he needs to buck his ideas up.

@lgm92881719 I like cookies. I wish I could make things instantly better for you. 9 years is a long time and it's a shame he's not willing to put any effort into your relationship.
If by being here helps then it's the least I can do. There are some great myLotters who will listen and try to help too, many of which you probably haven't met yet. I am more of a comedian than a councillor, but I'll do my best.
Hope you're staying safe and have plenty of provisions now we're pretty much in lockdown. x

I'll be ok I'm a tough cookie :-) I have to be ok for my kids so it's just a case of putting a smile on my face and being " happy mummy " they don't need to see how I feel. He don't like talking about feelings so I'm used to keeping it to myself, I've been with him 9 years this year and so I know not to expect much so I just do what I have to do and make sure the kids are ok! Thank you for being here

@Orson_Kart gotta love cookies haha, and yes definitely a long time but I've learnt to just deal with things myself so I guess why try and change what cannot be changed.
You being here helps alot thank you, you definitely make me smile alot through the day and that helps so maybe being a comedian is better than a councillor and I do talk to a fair few who also help so I do have to thank them too :-)
Yep staying in and staying safe if we need anything he goes and gets it so guess I can't complain to much and we have what we need for now, hope you are also staying safe and have what you need x

That is so so true. No one has the right to make another person feel terrible about themselves. You are also human so human beings have feelings and cannot always be strong. Hugs back at you.
