Stay at home and save people’s lives

Stay at home and save people’s lives I don’t know what it’s like where you live and with the coronavirus but the word here in the UK is “Stay at Home and Save Lives”. People who know me, know I’m a healthcare worker and it’s important for me and other healthcare workers to still health so we can look after you when you aren’t well. Yesterday here in the UK, we’ve seen an almost lockdown on the country, but some people still don’t get the message which is beyond me. Stay at home, it’s simple. By staying at home you are doing your bit in helping fight the virus and saving people's lives. Here in Plymouth at the moment, we have 11 confirmed cases with 2 death's, my ward has been turned into a covid-19 ward to help with the demand. Here is it where you are with convid-19? Still safe and healthy.

Hi Kevin! Please do take care of yourself too and stay safe. So far in my city we have just one positive case of covid and we have strong implementation of the current community quarantine policy. It's actually a lockdown here. All non-essential businesses are closed.

I live in a village in Leicestershire, where I am not aware of there being any Covid-19 cases. People here seem to be observing the rules - the pubs have closed, as has the hair salon, leaving just the Co-op open. I am fine staying at home and just taking the dog for a long walk in the nearby fields in the mornings. My wife - who has not yet retired - is working from home and having a very busy time in her role as a senior member of the Children's Services Department of Leicester City Council.

Stay safe and well. There's isn't much left open here in Plymouth either although I didn't go out yesterday (Tuesday).

No cases in my county yet thankfully but there are ones all around my county and deaths. We don’t have a lockdown but people are asked to stay at least 6 feet from others in stores and to stay home if you don’t have to work. I haven’t been to a store since the 14th. I am following recommendations and staying home and wish more people here would too.

That's good to hear that people are staying in, it's the only way and the sooner we all stay at home and stay away from others the sooner we will fight this. Stay safe and healthy.

My relatives and myself are doing our part to stay home except for to buy our basic needs or work away from the general population at Wal Mart since my nephew works at the stocking area of the store.

Thank you and you too. Oh yes, it will and already is doing so, I don't think any country will be ready for it, the numbers grow so fast. Yesterday there were 11 cases in Plymouth, today, 16, up 5.
