Any one tried to make their own masks at home? I tried but it didn't look as nice as the youtube videos, but the question is does it work? I guess that if you added a filter, it will work, do you agree?

Maybe you can make a mask out of bra. The bra is with I think filling and so I think it is working. I would do that DIY if I donĀ“t have a mask here.

oh I saw those videos, but don't do that, I am in the medical field and bra is not healthy, its thick and you cant breath from it properly.

Having a mask is always better than not having any, although the virus is so small it would pass through most homemade masks but we must remember that it's not airborne, it needs to piggyback on a larger particle. Adding more layers would probably improve it and better still I guess is if you could get some n95 respirator masks replacement filters to layer it.

Even n95 is not a guarantee that you will not get the virus, n95 is very good but way too pricey, masks made at home with some specifications works as good as n95 especially if you are not a hospital staff

We are not wearing masks yet. Ive only seen 2 people wearing a mask in the last week or so. As for making them? I have no idea if they work or not.
