I finished listening to The Lost Order by Steve Berry. It is the twelfth book of the Cotton Malone book series. Big Warning: there is some violence. In this book, Cotton is asked by the Smithsonian to find some hidden gold. He goes with Cassiopeia to hunt the treasure. But then he gets attacked. He learns about The Knights of the Golden Circle which his great grandfather was part of. Meanwhile Danny Daniels learns about the Knights too through a mistress of a senator who had died ( had been killed). He learns later on that the widow of the senator is planning something big with the House of Representatives. He becomes a sit-in senator to stop what she has planned. Stephanie is called in the Smithsonian too to look about a librarian who is looks at restricted achieves. She gets shot and gets in a coma. She ends up being okay. Cotton goes on to hunt down the lost gold in a vault on his great grandfather's land. I loved this book. Next I'm reading Dancing by Laurell K Hamilton. It is a novella of the Anita Blake book series.

It sounds interesting. It is better to get the synopsis of the book like you have given. I might try the book if I find the time. Thanks for the round up.
