I knew she's going to labor anytime soon, but I didn't expect it to be yesterday. What's worst was that I didn't get in time to prepare for her nest and she got dirty.
When I thought it was just two became four hours later. For the moment, no male dogs allowed since she's over protective of her pups.
How do you deal with this mom who has taken the entire back yard as her space.

I am sorry she got dirty. Sounds normal that she would be protective of her pups. I would talk to her and gain her trust and then let her be when she is ready to let you near her pups.

What is fascinating too me is that they are a brown dog who had black puppies but I would just put it down too Gods magnificent handy works and too answer your other question girls rule boys drule.
